Kirribilli Kitchen

Stunning Sydney Harbour views are now perfectly complemented by a beautiful modern kitchen in an apartment in Kirribilli. The middle-aged couple use the apartment as a Sydney-side retreat. The Dan Kitchens renovation has transformed a small and dark kitchen into a white and open space perfect for cooking and entertaining. One of the major challenges faced by the Dan Kitchens team was creating a layout that would fit the suite of large appliances specified, more often found in a full-size kitchen rather than an apartment kitchen.
The team removed internal walls to create an easy flow through the apartment. Working in an apartment building that had limited access also proved a challenge but was overcome by some creative thinking from the designers and installation team. Dolamite stone used for the benchtop and splashback plays a big part in the look and feel of the kitchen, especially when set against a neutral backdrop of white cabinets. Bar backing and internal drawers made of American Oak provide warmth and connect the kitchen to other American Oak joinery around the apartment.

Minimal detailing to this Kirribilli kitchen

The top drawers all have a minimal looking, slimline handle while the lower drawers do not. All are motorised so can be opened with a simple touch.
