Hamptons style comes to a Sydney apartment

Dan Stories

Cremorne-pt-main

A kitchen with a view to die for. Panoramic views of Sydney harbour can be seen from the kitchen and living room. Laying out the space with all the features while maintaining the view was of high importance.

Hamptons style is all about tradition, detail and seaside living. Where better to adopt this style than in a home by the shore of Sydney harbour?

This Cremorne home represents one of the most detailed and challenging projects over to be completed by Dan Kitchens Australia, and the result speaks for itself. Meticulously designed and manufactured, cabinets fit perfectly and every door reveal is spaced evenly. All doors are lacquered in white satin polyurethane adding to the coastal feel.

The white detailed profile doors are matched with unique profile edge marble benchtops, polished nickel handles and traditional tapware. Hamptons is a style that looks luxurious yet relaxed, and we’re not surprised by its growing popularity in Australia given its roots are in the seaside area of Long Island.

Cremorne-pt-butler-sink

One of the key features in this kitchen is the fireclay butler sink and traditional tapware from The English Tapware Company.

Cremorne-pt-gagganau-appliances

High-end Gagganau appliances are throughout the kitchen, including steam oven, oven, cooktop and deep warming drawer.

Cremorne-pt-integrated-sub-zero-refrigerator

Joinery discreetly hides the Sub-Zero refrigerator, while the integrated Sub-Zero wine fridge with it’s glass door leaves wine out for display.

Cremorne-pt-calacatta-detail

Intricately detailed calacatta marble (honed finish). The kitchen required several slabs, especially with the benchtops being double thickness. The detailing and shape of the benchtop proved a worthy contest for the stonemasons, who to their credit have worked to a high degree of craftsmanship.

Cremorne-pt-living

Soft toned colours and traditional furniture give a comfortable and relaxed ambience to the living space.

Cremorne-pt-entertainment-unit

Walking outside the kitchen reveals the Entertainment Unit. The same detailed joinery existing in the kitchen is carried right throughout the home.
