Set within a fully renovated Millers Point apartment, this custom kitchen was developed around a highly personalised material palette selected by the owners. Imported French oak parquetry, silver wallpaper and traditionally detailed doors and trims establish the broader interior context.
Delicatus White granite is the defining kitchen material. Its white background and dark veining establish the monochromatic palette, while semi-translucent areas create subtle changes as light moves across the surface.
The appliance suite includes a Qasair rangehood, V-Zug combination gas and induction cooking, matching ovens and dishwasher, and an integrated Sub-Zero refrigerator. Handles, fittings and selected hardware were carefully matched or custom-coated to maintain a consistent finish.
Dark Eveneer timber panelling and handleless cabinetry add contrast, while a custom timber microwave surround integrates the appliance cleanly into the joinery. Together, the materials and detailing create a highly individual kitchen without adding unnecessary visual clutter.
Attention-Grabbing Delicatus White Granite.
The space is a colour palette of black, white and grey tones, warmed by the traditional oak parquetry flooring.
Several stone slabs of Delicatus White Granite were needed to build the island bench and splashbacks.
Premium appliances, including a built-in Qasair rangehood, V-Zug gas & induction hobs and ovens. Custom microwave surround for a more built-in aesthetic.
The Sub-Zero handles and linear pendant light were custom-coated to match the dark taps and wall sconces.
The tall cabinets house the handleless V-Zug ovens and large Sub-Zero refrigerator. The only visible handles in this project are for the refrigerator and for the fully integrated V-Zug dishwasher.
A very monochrome aesthetic. Balancing the busy stone with softer textures in the flooring, timber veneer and white polyurethane was key.
