Freshwater Kitchen

The brief from the clients was to create a family friendly kitchen that was practical and great to cook in. Following the aesthetic of the home, the team at Dan Kitchens gave the kitchen, scullery and barbeque an ultra-modern appearance. The colour and material palette of the design borrows heavily from the home so blends in seamlessly.

A multitude of drawers, wall cabinets and tall pantries provide ample storage space for a growing family while durable materials such as stainless steel, man-made quartz stone and polyurethane doors meet the brief of being practical. Large integrated appliances keep the kitchen feeling uncluttered by being hidden away behind doors.

An open plan layout connects with the outside barbeque and entertaining area.

Joinery in dark polyurethane conceals a high-end refrigerator and wine storage from Sub-Zero.

A subtly veined man-made stone island sits comfortably within the space.

The cooking area features a narrow window splashback delivering natural light to the space. A stainless steel benchtop fulfils the clients brief for durability and cleanliness.

The rear of the island is packed with motorised drawers, a Miele combi oven and a Vintec Wine Fridge.

Bins are hidden behind a motorised door panel allowing it to be opened with a single touch.

Among the elements within the scullery are a combi oven and tall pantry.

The scullery has benchspace to house small appliances and a large sink with bowser style tap for cleaning larger kitchen items.

This kitchen features numerous storage solutions including this custom timber knife holder.
