Previous clients of Dan Kitchens Australia returned with a new, far more ambitious project then their last collaboration- a whole house renovation of a well-positioned, harbour front apartment in Sydney’s Cremorne Point. The scale of the project called for the involvement of Dan Kitchen’s builder and an interior designer. The client’s brief was to turn this large, modernly styled apartment into something straight out of the Hamptons, with finely detailed joinery, high-end appliances, traditional nickel plated fittings and natural marble throughout.

No room was to be left untouched while everything was planned and designed down to the smallest detail. So as to get the most of each room, Dan Kitchens Australia coordinated heavily with all involved, particularly with regular meetings with client and builder. Dan Kitchens designed joinery for over a dozen rooms, including a kitchen, tv unit, multiple wardrobes (built-in and walk-in), bathrooms, laundry and home office. All the joinery was detailed in their Hamptons style, with subtle variations between rooms providing opportunities for personality and expression. In the end, all stakeholders had come together, transforming this unassuming apartment into a little piece of the Hamptons on Sydney harbour.
