Wahroonga Kitchen

Dan Kitchens were tasked with transforming an underutilised area of the home comprising of separate rooms, into one cohesive kitchen space connected to the outdoors. The clients desired a larger kitchen, and the connection to the outdoors was also very important, as they enjoyed outdoor entertaining and nature. Working with the builder, internal walls were removed and a large opening at the rear of the building was made for the installation of stacking doors.
This opening created a connection to the outdoor entertaining area and backyard which transformed the rear of the home into a light-filled, green space. Warm-white coloured gloss polyurethane doors and a smoked mirror splashback were specified for the kitchen so as to reflect the light entering, further enhancing the brightness. A strikingly veined Smartstone benchtop island provides a luxurious focal point to the kitchen without overpowering.
