Transitional kitchen designs are kitchens that sit between kitchen styles or take elements from other styles. Predominantly, they have a more traditional design and layout but are far more paired back in detail. It’s also not uncommon for transitional kitchens to have more playful elements included in the design (whether through shape, material or colour) allowing for the injection of personality and eclecticism.
