Having worked with Dan Kitchens Australia in the past, the owners were aware of their quality of workmanship and so entrusted Dan Kitchens with their project. Along with the kitchen, Dan Kitchens worked on many other rooms in this large, multi-level apartment, including the wardrobes, laundry, home office, vanities and tv unit. The end result was a major transformation from a simple kitchen (with an amazing view) to a very luxurious, detailed kitchen.
Stunning views of Sydney harbour feel an appropriate backdrop for this Hamptons style kitchen.
High-end appliances from Gaggenau and Sub-Zero feature prominently in the kitchen.
A fireclay sink and Perrin & Rowe tapware in nickel.
Harsh salty environment: The materials specified for this project needed to stand up to the rigours of the harbourside location.
Behind a lot of the traditional detailing lies a lot of modern technology, like integrated wine storage, refrigerators and dishwashers.
Some beautiful detailing and craftsmanship in the calacatta marble benchtop.
Solid handles plated in Nickel were especially imported from England for this project.
Calacatta marble was used for both the benchtops and splashbacks.
Wall cabinets house a powerful Qasair rangehood (extracted through the wall to the right) over a Wolf gas cooktop.
Although there isn’t many wall cabinets or height to the kitchen, a multitude of deep drawers provide ample storage.
