Balmoral Beach Kitchen

Overlooking picturesque bushland reserve and Balmoral Beach beyond, the location was always situated in a tranquil spot, but the Balmoral house was old and rundown. So, the owners – a young family – demolished and rebuilt a new modern home to suit their growing needs and desires more perfectly.

The new home is more spacious and architecturally designed, complete with a glass elevator, a pool with an aquarium window and a state-of-the-art luxury kitchen designed by Dan Kitchens.

Dan Kitchens were approached early in their home building process – not long after DA approval – to design a kitchen suitable for a young family, as well as reflecting the qualities of the home itself.

Working off the architects’ house plans, Dan Kitchens was able to provide a photo-realistic image of the kitchen within the environment of the unbuilt home. This image allowed the clients to see precisely what Dan Kitchens was proposing and for them to also experience the inside of their home for the first time.

The owners’ requested a modern aesthetic, fashioned with durable materials, containing plenty of storage, with a straightforward layout, and premium appliances.

The 3.6m Kitchen Island with bar seating is a real feature in this new kitchen design, containing an abundance of large drawers and benchtops fabricated with a calacatta-like stone from Silestone. While the man-made light-timber utilised for the flooring decorates the bar backing of the island for a seamless aesthetic and an added pop of texture.

The contemporary colour scheme was suggested by the client, who ended up implementing this scheme throughout the entire home. The striking colour scheme was featured throughout the kitchen with dark navy polyurethane, warm oak timbers, and light stonework. Want to see more Dan Kitchens luxury kitchen renovations?
